Artist’s Note: At the onset of the quarantine I set a rule that I would make one work daily which would chronicle my time at home. I posted each work daily on instagram @albert0aguilar making them virtually public. These are two of those works that were actually public because they are placed in front of my home. Because we could not have a conventional celebration my wife commissioned me to make a front yard sign to mark the graduation of my two daughters. I designed the sign and commissioned a sign painter to create this hand-painted sign. My son helped my install the work in front of our home for all the neighbors to see. I created this marker to go beside my front doorway on April 26, 2020. The sword was borrowed from my son's bedroom the stones were taken from the garden.
