Artist’s Note: A bodice wrap pieced from remnant scraps of Halyard H600 medical fabric donated to our mask-making initiative by an area hospital. Working with a team of 4 other clothing designers, my business has helped to create nearly 3000 masks since early March, of which more than 2000 have been donated to first responders. This piece represents for me the way the demand and need for masks has hopefully focused a new light on the hidden but essential labor that drives all clothing production.
