Artist’s Note: This banner was originally created for the Women's March in 2017, held around the world in light of a new administration in Washington, as a demand to be proactive about women's rights, human rights, and basic equality for all. I carried this banner along with approximately 250,000 other demonstrators in Chicago the day after the inauguration, and for Art-In-Place, it has been repaired and stitched, and continues the message that there is a clear and present threat to the fundamental rights of Women, as well as to the broader imbalance of liberty and freedom for many in our cities and our country.
ART-IN-PLACE is organized by CNL Projects and Terrain Exhibitions.
