Artist’s Note: This painting was inspired by my many walks along the Chicago River, north to Devon Ave. I find a meditative calm, a restorative power and an abundance of stimulating conceptions that rise as I walk in nature. Sometimes a "reclaimed" natural habitat, sometimes a well-designed garden or city park.
